Avamore to host charity cycling event

Avamore Capital is hosting the first of a series of monthly property sector cycling events as it helps to raise money for Variety, the Children's Charity.

The bridging and development finance lender is teaming up with Dirty Wknd to stage a 50-mile cycle ride into the Surrey Hills on Friday 28th April starting at the Dynamo Café in Putney at 10am and finishing at the same venue at 1pm.

The event is a fun group ride for all abilities and is open to anyone in the property sector, making it a great opportunity to ride with colleagues and friends as well as making new connections with those in the industry.

“I think we’re going to start with a fairly modest event first time around, maybe 10-20 riders and grow it a little over time to maybe 30-40,” said Michael Dean, principal at Avamore Capital.

“Our hope is that the demand is sufficient that we can hold events fortnightly or even weekly, which would be great.”

The ride finishes at lunchtime with beer and pizza at Dynamo for those who take part.

The event costs £30 per person with a £5 donation being made to Variety on behalf of each attendee.

Road bikes will also be available to hire.
