Lendy produces range of educational videos

Peer-to-peer (P2P) platform Lendy has announced the launch of a new range of educational videos.

The series includes a new corporate video explaining the benefits of P2P lending and featuring genuine users from the site.

Other videos include a short programme on why investors like P2P lending and an animated guide showing new investors how to get the most from the platform.

“We are telling our story and how P2P lending works in a different and creative way, visiting both investors and borrowers on their home turf, overseeing major regeneration projects, and giving their reasons for going down the P2P finance route,” explained Paul Riddell, head of marketing and communications at Lendy.

The borrowers featured in Lendy’s videos include David Brace from Starvale Developments Ltd, who is transforming a unique Hampshire gunboat yard into a major waterside development.

James Byrne, a broker at Positive Lending and fan of P2P finance, also contributed to the videos.

The series was produced in association with Will West, a TV and video producer and director, who has worked with a wide range of organisations including Channel 4.

“We wanted to communicate the essence of our business, our vision and most importantly about what makes Lendy stand out, through a range of videos programmes specially designed to suit our personality,” added Paul.

In April, Lendy launched a new tool for tracking key drivers of the UK residential property market.
