Last year, the FlopGear Challenge raised over £6,700 for three charities, with four teams competing in a series of car-related challenges.

This year, Adapt hopes to raise £10,000 to support the charities Sam’s Gift and Steps.

Sam’s Gift – a locally run Manchester charity – helps support young cancer patients by providing them with a ‘Journey Box’, where they can express their hopes, fears and wishes during the difficult times.

Meanwhile, Steps – a charity close to the heart of one of the participants – supports those affected by childhood leg conditions and helps them to receive the correct diagnosis and treatment.
