B&C to launch filmed roundtable on competition and regional growth

This week, Bridging & Commercial will be launching its first-ever filmed roundtable event in association with Watson Farley & Williams.

The invitation-only roundtable – which is supported by Octopus Property and Glenhawk – will be held on Thursday 22nd November at Watson Farley & Williams’ offices at 15 Appold Street, London.

The agenda will include whether bridging lenders are now under pressure to make risky decisions and what challenges specialist finance providers face when building a regional team that truly understands the local market.

Chris Scott, BDM for London at Octopus Property; and Guy Harrington, CEO and founder of Glenhawk; will be joined by Ranjeev Kumar, partner at Watson Farley & Williams.

Also in attendance will be four specialist finance brokers: Chris Oatway, director at LDNfinance; Kris Corns, operations director at Crystal Specialist Finance; Miranda Khadr, founder of The Business and Commercial Finance Club; and Nathan Ellis-Calcott, director of specialist lending at Your Expert Group.

The roundtable will be chaired by Bridging & Commercial editor Beth Fisher.

The attendees will discuss whether new entrants can survive a heated bridging market, and the rise of regional lending and its impact on London and the South East.

The roundtable aims to gain insights from a range of perspectives in the bridging finance chain.

The 45-minute sessions will be filmed, published as a five-minute highlights reel on Bridging & Commercial and hosted on the Roundtables page following the event – so watch this space.

Bridging & Commercial will be hosting a series of roundtable sessions in 2019.

If you are interested in getting involved with any of these events and would like to suggest topics, please contact Bridging & Commercial’s editor Beth Fisher at [email protected] or on 0203 818 0165.
