Andrew Charnley

Ex-Lloyds head joins Together

Together has appointed Andrew Charnley (pictured above) to the newly created role of head of corporate relationships.

Andrew joins the specialist lender from Lloyds Banking Group, where he was previously head of asset-based lending (SME).

At Together, Andrew will be developing the lender’s growing corporate client base in the UK and focus on attracting clients across the corporate sector.

These will range from large businesses to individual investors looking to raise capital or targeting acquisitions.

“Andrew is immensely well respected across the corporate financial sector,” said Chris Baguley, commercial director at Together.

“He brings with him a wealth of expertise and, most importantly, shares our commitment to removing the barriers to lending by understanding the specific needs of the individual and their wider circumstances.

“We are delighted that he has chosen to join us in our continued growth.”

Andrew added: “[Together’s] human underwriting process replaces the strict, tick-box lending criteria applied by mainstream lenders, affording its clients heightened levels of flexibility and speed.

“I am personally aligned to the values that they hold in investing in long-term relationships with people, not cases.”
