Hope Capital takes on five new staff

Hope Capital has appointed five new employees, including a new head of marketing.

The lender has tripled the size of its business development team with the addition of two new BDMs and an expanded internal team.

Emma Tempest will look after the Midlands and East Anglia regions, while Stephen Allen — who joins from Alternative Bridging Corporation — will be responsible for brokers in the South West and Wales.

Christopher Buckley and Debbie Wilson are set to join its internal team which helps brokers with case submissions.

Christopher and Debbie will join the lender this week and in a month’s time respectively.

Hope has named Miriam Howarth as its new head of marketing, who joins from iProspect, where she served as an associate director.

She will develop and enhance Hope Capital’s brand strategy to increase the number of broker events that the lender holds and assist in building its relationships with brokers and key partners.

Jonathan Sealey, CEO at Hope Capital, said: “These appointments mark the next stage of Hope Capital’s growth strategy.

“We more than doubled in size last year and we are continuing to grow rapidly, but our priority is ensuring that our service remains exemplary, even with the rapidly increasing demand for our loans.

“Quick decision making and turnaround times — as well as the fact that brokers can rely on us to do what we say we will — are the key reasons brokers and their clients return to us again and again.

“These new appointments will ensure that this remains the case.”
