Key creates three new roles for corporate business development team

Equity release adviser Key has created three new roles for its corporate business development team.

Ian Chaplin (pictured above, right) — who has more than 20 years of experience in financial services — joins from ULS Technology as head of corporate sales.

Both Carly Proudfoot (pictured above, centre) and Sean Shiels (pictured above, left) have joined as account relationship managers.

Carly has worked for 17 years in customer engagement roles, while Sean joins from Paymentshield where he was a key account manager.

“Bringing Ian, Carly and Sean onto the team will help us to broaden our reach and allow us to help more partners to build compelling propositions focused on excellent customer outcomes,” said Paula Hughes, corporate business development director at Key.

“I’m really pleased to be welcoming them to the team at such an exciting time.”

Will Hale, CEO at Key, added: “Increasingly older consumers and the organisations that serve them are realising that equity release can help with the numerous financial challenges that people face, so it is essential that we have the right people in place to service this growing market.”
