Apex Bridging names new head of marketing

Apex Bridging has appointed Andy Bayes (pictured above) to its senior management team as its head of marketing.

Andy joins from the Nottingham Building Society — where he was also the head of marketing for seven years — and previously held senior roles at Nationwide and Santander.

“After hearing what the group, and particularly Apex Bridging, have planned for the next few years, I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of,” said Andy.

“The group has put together a talented team with ambitious plans and committed shareholders.

“I’m excited to see what we can deliver together in the years ahead.”

Sonia Shortland, director at Apex Bridging, added: “[Andy] brings with him the experience and success record we will need if our marketing activity is going to complement the plans we are putting in place for growth, and to support other senior roles that we will be filling in the coming months.”
