The SME funder has appointed Richard Chadwick (pictured above, right) as its chief risk officer.
Richard — who joins from Close Brothers, where he most recently served as commercial head of underwriting — will run the credit, collections and risk functions in his new role.
Simply has also promoted Roumena Goscomb (left) to the board as general counsel.
She has been at Simply for 16 months and will continue to oversee all legal and HR matters.

This comes as the lender has set its sights on further expansion.
