Arkle Finance reveals 30% lending increase

Arkle Finance has witnessed a 30% lending increase in the first half of 2019, compared with the same period last year.

The specialist asset finance provider also recorded a 56% rise in lending in May, compared with the same month in 2018, while lending in June grew by 32% year-on-year.

Arkle has also bolstered its broker team with the appointment of two new account managers: Ian Smith and Clare Peel.

Ian joins Arkle from Shawbrook Bank, where he was a broker manager, and previously served at Barclays in a number of roles within the bank’s asset finance division.

Clare previously worked as a BDM at Hampshire Trust Bank.

She also previously served as a relationship manager at Shawbrook for three years.

“Our people are the driving force behind our success in the asset finance sector, and we are bolstering our team further with the appointment of two highly experienced broker managers,” said Brian Jerome, associate director at Arkle (pictured above).

“Both Ian and Clare will be crucial to our sustained growth as we look to strengthen our ties, and expand our reach, with brokers working in the asset finance space.”
