Maximum bridging LTV returns to top of search criteria

Maximum LTV for bridging has returned to the top of the bridging category in Knowledge Bank's latest criteria search index for the month of July.

Regulated bridging has fallen from the top spot it held in June, while adverse credit has remained the third-most searched for criteria.

In the BTL category, first-time landlord remained the most searched for criteria.

The commercial category saw maximum LTV become the most searched for criteria, rising from third place in June.

“It was outstanding to discover that we have seen almost 30,000 mortgage criteria changes [in the] year to date, which just goes to show the pace at which our industry is making changes,” said Nicola Firth, CEO at Knowledge Bank (pictured above).

“No matter how many mortgages they place, it’s simply not possible for any broker to remember the 91,000 pieces of criteria, let alone keep pace with the 28,524 changes we’ve had already in 2019.”
