Theo — who will report to David Postings, global chief executive at BFS — joins from Close Brothers, where he spent 11 years, most recently serving as bank finance director.
He will join the BFS global executive committee and board, and will oversee operational finance, financial control, and financial planning and analysis.

“I’m delighted to join BFS at such an important time in its growth strategy and look forward to working closely with the global board and colleagues across the business to achieve BFS’s next stage of growth,” said Theo.
Theo succeeds global finance director Stephen Rose, who will leave BFS on 30th September after six years.
“I’d like to put on record my thanks to Stephen for his dedication over the past six years,” added David.
“I know he will continue to take a keen interest in our ambitious growth plans over the years ahead.”
