Connect for Intermediaries encourages industry to go vegan




Connect for Intermediaries has launched the Veganuary workplace challenge to encourage mortgage companies and individuals to go vegan for January.

Participants are encouraged to join either as a fundraiser participating in the event or as a sponsor by donating on Connect’s Virgin Money page.

The funds raised will be donated to three charities: Veganuary, WWF and Cancer Research UK.

Anyone who registers for Connect’s Veganuary workplace challenge will receive daily emails with tips, recipes and commonly asked questions from Liz Syms, CEO at Connect for Intermediaries.

The Veganuary workplace challenge was started by Liz, who has been vegan for almost three years.

She said: “Veganuary is … the perfect time to help my friends and colleagues in the mortgage industry who are ‘vegan curious’ to try out a vegan diet to see how much better they feel and raise money for charity at the same time.”
