Seneca Bridging aims to lend £25m in 2020 and appoints new BDM

Seneca Bridging has appointed Craig Ashton (pictured above) as a business development manager, ahead of plans to increase new lending to £25m this year.

Craig — who has extensive experience of raising finance for SMEs across the UK — joins the unregulated bridging and development finance provider from iwoca, where he was a regional introducer manager.

He commented: “I’m really looking forward to being part of the Seneca team, a company that is well regarded in the lending community, with genuine growth prospects and an excellent product offering.

“This is an excellent opportunity for me to work alongside an experienced management team in a dynamic and forward-thinking business.”

Tim Murphy, director at Seneca Bridging, added: “We are entering an exciting phase for the business where we have aspirations to kick on and really grow our lending book.

“We believe Craig is the right person to help us achieve our ambitions for 2020 and beyond.”

Craig is said to be the first of several planned hires to join the North West-based lender.
