PCF Bank names new head of business development of bridging arm

PCF Bank has appointed Mark Marlow (pictured above) as head of business development of its bridging property finance division.

Mark — who has over 20 years of experience in the lending industry — joins the AIM-listed specialist bank from Oblix Capital, where he was a business development manager.

Prior to that, he served as a BDM at Hampshire Trust Bank, Barclays and Bank of Scotland, having started his career in finance as a business manager at NatWest.

Commenting on his appointment, Mark said: “Over the past 12 months, the bank has achieved significant growth and I’m looking forward to contributing as we move forward in 2020 and beyond.

The PCF bridging proposition is dedicated to supporting property professionals, intermediary partners and brokers with flexibility, speed and outstanding service.”

Colin Stevens, head of bridging finance at PCF Bank, added: “Mark has all the relevant experience and connections to help us achieve our short- and medium-term objectives and I am delighted to welcome him to our growing team.”

PCF Bank established its bridging finance division in January 2019 and completed its first bridging loan in February 2019.

PCF Bank expects to see growth during 2020, so that it becomes a significant part of its total lending portfolio.

The specialist bank wrote £20m of new lending in the bridging finance business’s first year of operation.
