Oblix Capital names new non-executive chairman




Oblix Capital has appointed Mark Sismey-Durrant (pictured above) to the newly created role of non-executive chairman.

Mark has held several senior roles within the banking industry during his 40-year career, including chief executive at Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB), chief executive at Heritable Bank and chief executive at Sun Bank.

“[Mark’s] extensive knowledge, understanding and experience within the industry has already proved invaluable to the board, and as chairman, he’ll be able to bring even greater value to help us achieve our ambitious growth plans,” said Rishi Passi, CEO at Oblix Capital.

Mark added: “I am delighted to be joining Oblix Capital at this exciting stage of its development.
