ThinCats names new senior director of regional business development

ThinCats has appointed Gary Nutley (pictured above) as senior director of regional business development for London.

Gary joins from Allied Irish Bank (AIB), where he was the director of structured finance and specialised in providing funding packages to support leveraged buyouts, management buyouts, acquisitions and other cash flow lending propositions.

Prior to this, he spent four years as head of the corporate transactions team at RBS, covering London and the South.

In his new role, Gary will be responsible for supporting deals across London, where he will work with the London and South East team delivering complex funding solutions for regional businesses.

“Already well versed in the SME lending space, Gary is a strong addition to the ThinCats team,” said Mike Hackett, head of sales at ThinCats.

“Gary will be working closely with corporate finance advisers, private equity sponsors and local business leaders to deliver sustainable funding solutions for mid-sized SMEs in London.”

Gary added: “I am excited to be joining the ThinCats lending team and am looking forward to helping build upon its success to date.

“I know how important it is that SMEs are given the opportunity to find suitable funding from long-term partners.”
