Phil has more than 15 years’ experience with SME and property portfolios, having held roles at Merril Lynch and Global Home Loans.
He was a member of the enterprise management risk committee and group credit committee at Amicus Finance, and, most recently, worked as head of credit at bridging lender Fiduciam.

“Property credit risk is a key element to the continued growth of this business, and I have a wealth of experience and expertise that I look forward to bring to the role,” Phil commented.
The appointment comes shortly after Castle Trust announced that it had successfully secured its banking licence.
