B&C Awards 2020 confirms new date

After careful consideration and monitoring of the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak, the Bridging & Commercial Awards 2020 has been moved.

Due to be held on 4th June, the sold-out event will now be hosted on Thursday, 10th September 2020 at the Hurlingham Club.

All being well, and subject to a much more positive post-summer outlook, the African-safari themed awards, in association with United Trust Bank, will go ahead as planned in September.

“We will commit to continuing to look out for the wellbeing of our guests, sponsors and table holders,” said Caron Schreuder, managing director at Medianett.

“The event is, hopefully, going to provide a beacon of positivity after this challenging period, and we look forward to getting together with the industry this year more than ever. We miss you.”

All bookings have been transferred to the new date, and deadlines related to voting, the publication of the shortlist, and judging, will remain as is, for now.

Our judges felt it necessary to retain the usual 12-month period on which to base their deliberations and ultimate decisions as to who wins the coveted golden ‘B’ statues.

You can remind yourself of all deadlines in our ‘How does it all work?’ article.

Voting closes at 12pm on 17th April, and we encourage all industry stakeholders to have their say.

The shortlist will be revealed on B&C on 22nd April.

The judges were announced in early February.

More details on when (and how) the judging day will be held will be announced in due course.

Medianett thanks everyone for their support, and we wish all businesses the very best during this tough period.
