SDL Auctions set to launch second virtual auction with 125 lots

SDL Auctions is gearing up for its second national virtual auction with 125 lots on 28th May.

The previous auction in April lasted seven hours and featured 115 lots.

Andrew Parker, managing director and auctioneer at SDL Auctions, said: “We are excited to be holding another national property auction, with even more lots than last month.

“We are selling a great range of properties to suit private buyers, investors and developers alike.”

The first lot at the auction is a detached refurbishment bungalow with a guide price of £90,000 in Sutton Coldfield.

The chalet-style bungalow is boarded up and behind an overgrown garden, but Andrew said it was expected to attract keen bidding.

Another property available to bid for is a detached bungalow in a Nottinghamshire village with a guide price of £275,000-plus.

Andrew added: “This is truly a dream property, with its stunning wisteria across the front and packed with character.”

A two-storey mixed-use property in Oldbury has a retail unit, office space, storage unit and a two-bedroom apartment, with a potential gross annual income of £16,200.

SDL has switched its room auctions to monthly national property auctions broadcast live over the internet and has raised over £17m for sellers since the lockdown began.

“It is clear the need to sell property has not diminished during the crisis, and we’re proud to be able to help sellers achieve their aims by providing the certainty of an auction sale.”

Bids can be placed remotely by proxy, by telephone and on the internet for the auction.
