Watts Commercial Finance supports online fundraising music festival

Watts Commercial Finance, alongside local fundraiser Peter McCleave from www.10000donors.com, are supporting an online music festival in aid of Mid Cheshire Foodbank.

Acoustic Postcards will be hosting the event via Facebook at 7pm on 17th July, to raise funds for those struggling to provide food for their families following the Covid-19 outbreak.

The Cheshire-based acoustic musician collective will be live streaming their performances from their home studios.

Phil Gray, managing director at Watts Commercial Finance, said: “These are difficult times for many people, and I am delighted to support our local foodbank when they need it most.

“I am also delighted to support [the] fantastic collective of musicians who are pulling together to make a difference.”

Councillor Nathan Pardoe, a volunteer with Mid Cheshire Foodbank, added: "Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have had twice as many people to feed and we need your support now more than ever.

“As the economic impact of Covid-19 accelerates, more people will have to turn to foodbanks.

“Thanks so much to Acoustic Postcards for organising this fantastic event and supporting Mid Cheshire Foodbank."
