B&C and Castle Trust Bank team up for virtual roundtable on the continued strength of the BTL market

Bridging & Commercial will be hosting its next virtual roundtable on 3rd September, in partnership with Castle Trust Bank.

The interactive event, which is part of a series launched earlier this year, will start at 2pm and be moderated by Medianett’s managing director, Caron Schreuder.

The topic will be: ‘The continued strength of the BTL market’.

Castle Trust Bank’s sales director Rob Oliver and business development manager Charlie London will be joined by Kim McGinley, director at VIBE Finance; Alasdair McPherson, director at Rangewell;  and Mike Coates, managing director at Commercial Expert.

The panel will discuss the areas of the BTL market which represent the biggest opportunities, how lenders are reacting to the change in habits of landlords and how investors can leverage the assets they have through specialist finance options in order to get the most out of their current portfolio.

They will also share their views on what concerns lie on the horizon for landlords.

Registration is open and it is free to attend for all professionals working in the sector.

The panel will be taking questions during the session and attendees are encouraged to get involved.

The event will also be available to watch after 3rd September on B&C.

Commenting ahead of the event, Rob said: “The UK’s property market has been through a turbulent time over the last couple of years, but one highlight has been the consistently high demand for rental properties – and we can add the increased demand for holiday lets to that.

“BTL remains a sound opportunity for property investors, with quality properties providing attractive yields.”

Kim added: “While the last year has been unstable to say the least in relation to criteria changes and lender appetite, the market is in a great place with so much to discuss surrounding all aspects of specialist finance.

“I’m really looking forward to providing my thoughts in this roundtable.”
