Newcomer of the Year: Lowry Capital.

Accepted by: Richard Basso (speaking from Miami). “We are delighted to have won the Newcomer of the Year award from Bridging & Commercial. As a young company, Lowry Capital have strived to provide a high level of customer service and we are delighted that this has been recognised. We would like to thank all our introducers and advisors for their support during 2008.”

Decision Maker of the Year: Blemain Group.

Accepted by: Director Gary Bailey. “Speed is often a key factor in bridging finance cases and with over 30 years of experience in this market we appreciate the importance of a quick decision. We have funds available and a strong appetite to lend. As we can provide both residential and commercial first charge and second charge bridging finance we should be the first port of call for any broker looking for a decision on a short term funding case. We’ll always take a pro-active view on all cases, including those that do not fit our criteria, and we have streamlined our processes to ensure pay out is as rapid as possible. It’s great to know that our brokers appreciate our efforts and we can assure them that we are committed to the bridging finance market and will continue supporting them with a responsive and progressive service in 2009.”

Best Online Bridger: Catalyst Securities.

Accepted by: The team at Catalyst. “The team at Catalyst are delighted to receive this award. Our on-line application form was designed to be simple and user friendly with the use of some mandatory fields in the key sections which ensures that we receive complete and accurate information from day one, thus enabling us to make an instant decision on the deal. The team would like to thank all their brokers for their support during 2008.”

Most Innovative Bridger: Hilton Ventures.

Accepted by: Chairman Graham Alcock. “This is a tremendous achievement and testimony to the efforts we have made to build our profile and business during this calendar year. This award reflects our "can do" attitude to providing loans in the current climate and is hugely rewarding given brokers and introducers voted for us. The calibre of other winners in other categories is really pleasing and it is satisfying for us to be associated with them. A huge credit goes to our team who have worked tirelessly to continue to grow the loan book over the past year.”

Other winners include Mathon, who won Best Commercial Bridger, and Pure Bridging, who were awarded Best LTV.
