Short term lender Hope Capital has appointed Danny Power as its new Business Development Manager following its recent plans to expand.

B&C can confirm that Hope Capital has recently snapped up Danny Power, former BDM at Mint Bridging. The development comes after Hope’s announcement of its recruitment drive last month for its head office in Merseyside as well as its new London office.

Commenting on his new role, Danny stated: “Well, first of all I have to say what a pleasure it is to join such a forward-looking and experienced team looking to give unrivalled service to introducers and to meet their requirements as quickly as possible.”

Danny’s role will involve developing the network of contacts he has built up over the years and to ensure a quality bridging service.

Danny added: “I moved to Hope because of the sheer enthusiasm of the team here. I have known Jonathan and Steve Sealey for a couple of years and have great respect for the reputation they have built.”

Early last month, the principal bridging lender announced the opening of a London-based office and its intentions to more than treble its loan book over the next year. Danny stated that Hope is always looking to further expand and to increase its market presence, stating: “I am hoping to be part of that expansion and to do everything to raise our profile and to increase the numbers of loans we assist our introducers with.”

As well as previously working for Mint Bridging, Danny also held a Business Development Executive position with Cheshire-based Bridgebank Capital in 2010.

Danny commented: “I think it is fair to say I have been in our market for a long time and my aim is to use every bit of the experience I have gained over many years to provide my network with high levels of service and fast responses with both indicative rates and loan offers.

“I am planning to make contact with as many active introducers as possible in whatever arena available, be it personal visits, telephone contact or through expos, and let them know the quality of the Hope Capital product and the benefits of using our service.”
