B&C Awards 2016: Judging day

Last week industry experts met to decide the winners of this year's Bridging & Commercial Awards.

Members of the bridging, commercial and development finance industry met at the Marriott Marble Arch Hotel to select the 16 winners, which will be revealed at the awards ceremony that takes place at The Hurlingham Club on 9th June.

The experts were split into two panels with the lender panel meeting in the morning to judge the broker categories, followed by a broker panel which met in the afternoon to select the lender award winners.

The panels then deliberated the shortlisted candidates by looking over their supporting documentation and then voting for who should be named winner and highly commended.

Both panels were chaired by independent figures with John Davies of Just Cashflow chairing the lender panel and Norman Chambers of the NACFB chairing the broker panel.

The panels have selected their winners, but the names of the successful companies will be kept a closely guarded secret until the 9th June.
