Specialist short and medium term lender, Drawbridge Finance, picked up two top awards last week at the annual Bridging and Commercial Awards, held at the Grange City Hotel, Tower of London
The only firm to win two awards, Drawbridge Finance – established in April 2009 – scooped the first award of the night for Best Newcomer of the Year, and later beat off stiff competition to pick up the award for Best Product Range.
Ray Cohen, the compliance expert who sat on the judging panel alongside Adrian Bloomfield, Adam Tyler and Mo Mulki, said: “The panel were very impressed by the quality of their submission and the supporting intermediary comments.
“In particular it was clear that there was both an appetite to lend as well as the provision of excellent service and support”
Commenting on their successes, Jonathan Samuels, CEO of Drawbridge Finance, said: “We are extremely proud to have picked up two awards in one night.
“In particular, winning the Best Newcomer of the Year award shows how far we have come in such a short space of time. Both these awards are testament to the hard work, dedication and achievements of the entire Drawbridge Finance team.
“We have already lent in excess of £100m since launch, and we believe this tremendous milestone has been achieved by offering a comprehensive and unrivalled service to our customers, through our small but experienced group of intermediaries.
“Our aim is to build on this success and firmly establish ourselves as the number one short and medium term lender in the UK.”
