Rio Ferdinand, Mark Noble and Bobby Zamora are all part of the Legacy Foundation, which combines residential, sport and community-led development, while also delivering schemes which have up to 50% affordable housing.
The footballers attended the property event to showcase Kingsland, an area of Houghton Regis in Bedfordshire, which is earmarked for development.
Legacy has been working with Central Bedfordshire Council, who share the group’s vision for delivering united communities through the provision of quality housing and fully integrated sports and community facilities.
Kingsland is Legacy’s pilot scheme before it rolls out similar developments across the country.
The project will see more than 1,000 new homes built as Legacy looks to deliver more social and affordable housing than any other developer.
