Keith Aldridge, managing director of Amicus Property Finance, revealed the news to guests during a stakeholder event held at Le Meridien Hotel, Piccadilly, on 24th November.
The announcement came just weeks after the firm opened a new office in the centre of Manchester.
Commenting on the landmark achievement, Keith said: “We exceeded £1bn [of] lending quicker than we had anticipated.

“This achievement, along with the recent opening of our Manchester office … will be two contributing factors that give us the confidence to drive the group’s growth ambitions into 2017 and beyond.”
In October, Amicus submitted an application for a banking licence to the Financial Conduct Authority.
Earlier this month, the lender revealed that it has funded three developments in the North of England following the opening of its Manchester office.
