Norton Folgate rebrands and appoints new COO

Asset and leasing specialist Norton Folgate has announced the appointment of a new chief operating officer as it rebrands to Amicus Asset Finance.

Jeremy Guilfoyle joins from Paragon Bank Business Finance, where he had served as commercial director since January 2016.

In his new role, Jeremy will be responsible for systems driving structural transformation in areas such as technical support, credit and legals.

“Joining Amicus Asset Finance in this key growth period is a really exciting opportunity for me,” Jeremy stated.

“I am looking forward to leveraging my experience from a long-established business and applying it in a business with Amicus’ modern and forward-thinking approach.”

Jeremy’s appointment coincides with the rebrand to Amicus Asset Finance.

The name change follows Norton Folgate’s acquisition by Amicus Finance in February 2015.

The business has now brokered over £500m of asset finance and business loan facilities through over 10,000 individual transactions.

Robert Keep, managing director of Amicus Asset Finance, added: “We have an incredible opportunity in the North to further develop and establish Amicus as the independent lender of choice and this will be achieved by servicing the local business community and providing them with efficient access to funding.

“We achieved significant success as Norton Folgate; something I expect only to be enhanced and continue to grow as Amicus Asset Finance.”
