Metro Bank snaps up ex-Aldermore head

Metro Bank has announced two new appointments to its asset finance team.

Nova Everidge joins from Aldermore Bank, where she had served as head of originations, head of internal sales and support and head of operations since December 2013.

In her new role as head of operations at Metro Bank, Nova will be responsible for developing the firm’s asset finance support and operations functions.

She said: “I’m thrilled to be joining an innovative organisation like Metro Bank.

“Its culture and vision means that it’s really shaking up the industry, and I’m delighted to be part of the team revolutionising British banking.”

Meanwhile, James Harrowsmith has joined as head of corporate transport following positions at BLME, Eddie Stobart and Lloyds Bank.

James will be responsible for launching and driving forward Metro’s corporate transport sector.

Both appointments will report to the bank’s head of asset finance Nathan Mollett.

“Appointing Nova and James is testament to the strength and breadth of our asset finance business and will help support our future growth,” James explained.

“They bring a wealth of experience in their respective fields and a real commitment to helping businesses expand and develop, I’d like to warmly welcome both of them.”

The news comes less than a month after Metro Bank spoke exclusively with Bridging & Commercial to reveal plans to double its asset finance loan book over the next 12 to 18 months.
