Charles, who held the position of group managing director of mortgages, revealed he would be leaving Aldermore to join the Sharia-compliant investment bank Gatehouse Bank as its new CEO.
James will assume responsibility of Aldermore’s mortgages division from 5th April until a permanent appointment is made in due course.
Responsible for finance and treasury, James joined Aldermore in June 2013 after previously holding roles within the Co-operative Banking Group, including acting CFO.
James will remain a member of the challenger bank’s board and will still continue his role as chief financial officer.
