Property website launches multi-million pound prime-time TV advert

.

A leading property website has launched its first national TV advertising campaign, which will feature during prime time slots across ITV, Channel 4 and 5, and the Sky digital channels.

Believing that the nation’s appetite for the property market is still as strong as ever, Zoopla hopes the campaign will increase its brand awareness.

Zoopla.co.uk is running the initial television advert for five weeks until the end of September, and it is just one part of its multi-million pound TV, print and digital campaign that is set to run over the following months.

Zoopla believes 87% of adults will see the TV advert at least once a during the initial five-week period.

The television advert centres around the theme that finding the perfect property is much like finding the perfect partner, and for the first thirty seconds that’s exactly what viewers would presume the actors are talking about.

It could even prove to be quite humorous on first viewing, with one man saying: “This feels like the one, but if it gains a few pounds I’m definitely partial to getting rid of it”, whilst holding his partner’s hand and her frowning.

Zoopla has been working closely with leading creative and media agencies on the campaign.

VCCP, who have worked with Comparethemarket.com, O2 and Standard Life were responsible for the creative development and Vizeum who have worked with Coca-Cola, BT and BMW, handled the media buying.

Alex Chesterman, Founder and CEO of Zoopla.co.uk, said: “Over the past 2 years, the pace of our growth has been unrivalled in the property portal space.

“Our marketing to date has been largely focused online and we are now ready to turn Zoopla into a household name targeting property buyers, renters, sellers and landlords so that we can continue to be the most effective marketing partner for all UK estate agents.”
