London development lender launches new online campaign


Following a successful year of growth, increased activity and even an award win, North London-based development lender, Regentsmead, has announced it is stepping up its marketing campaign.

Regentsmead has partnered with Bridging and Commercial as part of its online campaign to increase broker awareness of development finance, and the opportunities it offers to them.
The development lender will have a presence on the leading industry news site and Chief Executive James Bloom will be on hand to answer any development finance queries from brokers, through Bridging and Commercial’s online facility – Bridge Doctors.
Commenting on the new campaign, James Bloom said: “We are delighted to partner with Bridging & Commercial who have become a major force and influence on the secured lending market. This year has been one of exciting firsts and changes and we look forward to our partnership with Bridging & Commercial enhancing the progress already made in 2010.”

This year has been marked by a number of firsts for Regentsmead, with the firm winning its first award in June, picking up the accolade of Best Development Lender at the 2010 Bridging and Commercial Awards.

As well as this win, the lender also became a patron member of the NACFB earlier this year, with Adam Tyler, chief executive of the NACFB calling Regentsmead’s commitment to the broker market ‘fantastic’.

The firm’s commitment to brokers was also demonstrated in April with the launch of a new product, which is said to be its most flexible to date. The development lending product has an annual interest rate of 9 per cent, which is payable monthly, working out at 0.75 per cent per month. Additionally, funds can be made available within 5 working days of an offer being signed.
Speaking at the product launch, James Bloom said: “We’ve always been the market leader for service, now we want to be the market leader for products. This new, flexible product should put us in a uniquely strong position.”
