The bank announced in January that it would be closing down after 182 years of business.
On Friday 28th April, the bank also closed its Coatbridge and Bellshill branches.

The main Airdrie branch - which it expects to close before the end of 2017 - and customer contact centre will stay open to serve remaining savings account customers as the winding down of the bank continues.
The bank reminded customers that – if they haven’t done so already – they should open a new bank account and transfer their business to another bank or building society.
Airdrie Savings Bank has established a new business relationship with TSB which will include transferring all secured customer loans and mortgages to TSB.
The bank cited a lack of resources for the years ahead as the reason behind the closure following a comprehensive strategic review.
