Henry Stewart conference to tackle issues influencing the property market

Bank of England policy, Brexit, the general election and the government's policy on planning will all be addressed at the upcoming Henry Stewart Property Finance briefing.

The event takes place at Le Méridien, Piccadilly, central London, on Thursday 18th May.

Eighteen frontline experts, all active in the market, will tackle the main issues affecting property finance through a series of keynote reviews, detailed briefings and panel debates.

Patricia Connelly, CEO of Henry Stewart, said it had been providing these briefings for many years and it had seen the market in all its phases: from reckless lending to panic withdrawal.

“The one constancy is the need for up-to-date market knowledge.

“We’re here to ensure that information is easily accessible – from individuals who are in the market and making the decisions.

“Our briefings reflect the market’s needs.”

Patricia added that the briefing would be covering finance options such as crowdfunding and peer-to-peer lending which did not exist until recently.

“Difficult markets breed innovation, while easy markets encourage recklessness.

“Good market knowledge supports wise judgement and empowers lenders and borrowers alike.”
