Simon has over 26 years of banking experience from his time at RBS, where his roles included private banking manager, relationship manager and taskforce team manager.
He will work closely with lenders and brokers on commercial mortgages for both owner-occupiers and landlords.
He will also cover medium- and long-term specialist mortgages and business loans.

Simon said: “I’m very excited to be joining the successful Positive team and I believe my experience will add real value to their future growth.
“My extensive knowledge of the commercial sector means I’ll be able to work with introducers and lenders to assess cases and deliver suitable, cost-effective funding outcomes.”
Completions at the company have increased by 143% since the start of this year, compared with the same period last year, and commercial enquiries rose by 120% during the same period.
