The independent finance house’s new division will be led by head of credit Steve Taylor (pictured above) and will provide specialist advice, funding and support to businesses seeking finance for a wide range of commercial requirements.
The division will offer commercial mortgages, property finance, crowdfunding and bridging loans.
It will also use a combination of own-book lending with a suite of commercial finance products.
Steve – who has worked in the UK banking and financial sector for 30 years – has extensive experience of assisting businesses in accessing finance and supporting their plans for growth.

“Accessing commercial finance – especially in relation to commercial property – has become increasingly challenging in recent years,” said Steve.
“Increased pressure on traditional banks to tighten lending criteria – together with the growing number of alternative funding platforms becoming available – make it difficult for SMEs to navigate their way to the best deal.
“Henry Howard Finance recognises that every business has unique funding requirements and the launch of this new division both strengthens and complements our group offering.
“As a major lender with the addition of securely established brokerage relationships, we will now become a one-stop shop for SMEs seeking all types of financial support.”
