Aldermore non-exec director to step down




Aldermore has announced that non-executive director Robert Sharpe has tendered his resignation, which will take effect from 31st October 2017.

Robert – who joined the specialist bank in April 2015 as a non-executive director – has decided to step down from the board following a review of his other directorships.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Robert currently holds chairman roles based in London at Bank of Ireland UK, Retirement Advantage Equity Release, Honeycomb PLC and Al Rayan Bank.


“The board would like to take this opportunity to thank Robert for his significant contribution over the past two years, in particular his valuable expertise in mortgage lending, and wish him every success for the future,” said Danuta Gray, interim chairman of Aldermore.

Robert added: “I have been delighted to work with the board and management team over the last few years, and I wish them every success in the further development of the business."
