The conference – which takes place in London on 9-10th October – will feature the PitchIt competition where selected start-ups go head-to-head to compete in front of some of the biggest venture capitalists in technology.

The live fundraising feature will allow eight of the PitchIt finalists to raise money immediately at the event from both delegates and existing members of the platform.

SeedInvest has previously operated live crowdfunding in the US with Jason Calacanis’ LAUNCH Festival, which enabled start-ups to raise $7.5m from almost 3,900 investors.

LendIt’s global collection of delegates is made up of over 200 investors and venture capitalists, while start-ups will have access to SeedInvest’s network of 185,000 investors already active on its platform.
