Hartnell Taylor Cook appoints Bristol office head

The independent commercial property consultants Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP has appointed Ian Lambert to lead its Bristol office.

Ian joined the company as a graduate trainee in 1991 after obtaining a degree in valuation and estate management from the University of West of England.

He initially worked in the property management department before moving to the investment and auction department.

In the past, Ian worked closely with the then senior partner St John Hartnell and learned to sell property by auction.

In 2007, he became a partner in charge of the investment agency team and has continued to be based in Bristol.

Ian said: “I am delighted to be appointed in charge of the Bristol office, we have a fantastic team who all work hard and provide a high-quality service for our clients yet also enjoy the workplace.

“It is a real pleasure having started with HTC many years ago to have seen how the business has progressed and be part of this growth.

“HTC has grown substantially since I joined and we now offer many more areas of specialism with the fastest growth being in our facilities management and building consultancy teams and I look forward to announcing further new developments over the next few months.

“The next few years will be challenging with Brexit and as the full impact of the digital age impacts on the workplace and the commercial property market, but I feel confident we at HTC are well placed to react and continue to provide a quality service, especially as we approach our centenary in 2022.”

Stuart Howell, managing partner at Hartnell Taylor Cook, added: “It’s great to know the Bristol office is in safe hands and I am sure it will continue to flourish and prosper under Ian’s watchful eye."
