William has joined the specialist broker from Towergate, where he spent over three years in a variety of roles and was most recently head of operational finance for its insurance broking division.
The appointment comes after Simon Whittaker moved up to become CFO for the Property Business Group, the parent company of Mortgages for Business and Keystone Property Finance.
Simon will focus on strategic opportunities for the group and welcomed William’s appointment.

“William is taking on the day-to-day operational responsibility for both finance and compliance.
“In particular, he will be looking for ways to improve efficiency.
“No doubt his army experience will come in handy as the business continues a period of rapid expansion.”
As well as a career in the army, William is also a qualified chartered accountant and said he was looking forward to getting his teeth into his new role.
“I have lots of experience of simplifying operations while businesses are undergoing change and growth, so I’m looking forward to applying my skills and knowledge to this new challenge.”
