It will set out the government’s plans for the economy based on the latest forecasts from the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR).

Mr Hammond announced in 2016’s Autumn Statement that there would now only be one fiscal event per year, held in the Autumn.
From 2018, there will be a Spring Statement.
Earlier this year, Mr Hammond provoked a mixed reaction from those within the financial industry after announcing his first and last Spring Budget.
