FP Show to feature later life lending and GDPR speeches

The Finance Professional Show (FP Show) has added two extra speaking events to its programme.

Speeches on later life lending and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) have been added to the event, which takes place on 8th November at Olympia in London.

Robert Lands, partner at London-based law firm Howard Kennedy, will explain the impact of GDPR and how the industry can prepare itself for when it replaces the Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC in 2018.

Meanwhile, Dean Mirfin, group director at Key Retirement Solutions, will discuss later life funding, a hot topic among brokers, customers, lenders and regulators.

Both talks will take place in the Hub at 11.15am and 12.30pm respectively.

“We are delighted to expand our seminar speeches with the extra sessions dedicated to GDPR and later life lending,” said Rachel Fellows of R&R Events, the organiser of the FP Show.

“The FP Show now has a full programme of seminars and speeches, along with a record number of exhibitors covering the widest range of specialist lending in the market.”

Attendees to this year’s FP Show can earn CPD points for visiting the event, as well as for seminar attendance.

All visitors are invited to the Think Property Finance free networking breakfast, which is open from 9.30am.

Rachel added: “With CPD points on offer for everyone who attends the show, we expect to record an even higher attendance this year.”

The FP Show is free to attend, but registration is required, which can be completed via the show’s website.
