Begbies Traynor launches advisory practice

Begbies Traynor Group PLC has launched BTG Advisory, a new boutique practice providing commercial, strategic and partner-led advice to companies, investors, lenders and other stakeholders.

BTG Advisory is the consolidation of the group’s non-insolvency service offerings – including BTG Financial Consulting – into one unified business which will serve clients in the UK and internationally.

The business will deliver its services via six UK offices in London, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Birmingham and Bristol.

The practice aims to bridge the gap between the advisory and consultancy services currently being offered by Begbies Traynor.

"We are extremely excited to announce the launch of BTG Advisory today, bringing together a specialist team of experts offering boutique, partner-led advice across the full range of professional services, from corporate finance and financial consulting to litigation support, expert forensic consulting as well as restructuring and turnaround advice,” said Mark Fry, head of advisory at BTG Advisory.

"As well as our established national network in the UK, we also have the capability to undertake significant international assignments through our global alliance, BTG Global Advisory, advising many leading banks, law firms, private equity and other funds, bankruptcy debtors, creditor committees and operating companies, across all continents and multiple offshore centres."
