John – who previously worked at the Bank of Scotland for 25 years, specialising in sales and service – heads up the Scotland, North East, Northern Ireland and Isle of Man regions.

Currently managing a team of eight located across the regions from the P2P lender’s office in Edinburgh, John has been involved in the financing and refinancing of renewable energy projects during his two years at Assetz Capital.

Mark works remotely for the firm in the southern regions, where he leads a team of relationship directors with business responsibility for London, southern England, south Wales and the South West.

He previously served as a branch manager for Handelsbanken in Cardiff/Bridgend and was a business development director for Barclays Corporate Banking.

In their new roles, the pair will recruit, line manage and develop the relationship directors within their assigned areas, as well as continuing to support their own commercial relationships.
