John – who has over 25 years of experience in compliance, risk, finance and general management – has joined from online investment service Interactive Investor.
He previously held senior positions at Clydesdale Bank, Virgin Money and RBS.
In his new position based in Leeds, John will lead Hitachi Capital UK's second line risk function and oversee the assessment and mitigation of risk across the company’s business channels.
