Yasin Patel and Shoaib Bux to leave Amicus

Amicus Property Finance has revealed that divisional directors Yasin Patel (pictured above) and Shoaib Bux (pictured below) have decided to leave the business to pursue new opportunities.

The announcement coincides with the lender’s decision to centralise operational functions at its HQ.

Amicus’s Manchester business has successfully grown year-on-year since being established as a regional hub in 2016 and has supported demand for residential and development projects in the North.

Amicus acquired Mayfair Bridging in November 2014 and merged with the Amicus brand in October 2015.

Shoaib said that working at Amicus had been a fantastic learning experience and was thankful for the skills he had acquired.

“We have made many friends and wish to give a personal thank you to Keith Aldridge, Steven Clark and James Weaver for giving us the opportunity.''

Yasin added: “It has been a pleasure working at Amicus, and we leave with a wealth of knowledge for the next phase of our journey.”

Keith Aldridge, founder and managing director at Amicus Property Finance, thanked the pair for playing such a crucial role in the evolution of the business.

“As we complete our strategic review and planning for 2019 and beyond, I am very positive about the opportunities and potential for significant growth of our business in the North of England and I wish Yasin and Shoaib well in their next venture.

“For now, it’s business as usual for all our Manchester clients – we have already relocated Reim Medhurst to our London offices to ensure a seamless continuation of service for our brokers and clients.

“We will continue to provide a full service with a strong commercial presence in the North, with administrative functions being fulfilled from our office in Air Street, [London].”
