Steve has previously served at Clifton Private Finance, SPF Private Clients and Foresters.
He started his career as a financial adviser before moving into a bridging broker/BDM role in 2016 with SPF.
At the specialist lender, Steve will look after existing and new accounts along the M4 corridor from Reading to south Wales, the West Country and the Oxford area.
Steve said Alternative Bridging had a proven record in the broker world.
“It just felt like the right time for me to be on the other side of the fence.

“I pride myself on providing an excellent service level and as I have been a broker, I understand the needs and speed required by them to offer a good service to their clients.”
Looking at the differences he has already noticed between working as a broker and now as a lender, Steve felt that the roles were very similar.
“The only difference is … building the long-term relationships with the brokers I look after.
“It is the key to success as they are the beginning of the whole process and I intend [that] my service level will ensure that they think of me first for new opportunities.”
Discussing his targets going forward, Steve added: “My aim is simple, provide a superior service to our competitors from the receipt of a new enquiry through to completion and become the go-to lender for residential and commercial bridging and development finance.”
