The specialist lender has promoted Andy Dunn (pictured above) to the role of processing manager, having worked at Affirmative for a year.
Meanwhile, Farah Akhtar – who has been at Affirmative for two years, since joining in 2016 as a case manager – has been promoted to the role of junior underwriter.
Affirmative said that it was delighted to retain Farah within the business, which reflected her hard work and willingness to learn.
In addition, Mahbuba Khanom has joined Affirmative’s processing team.

Despite joining from outside the bridging industry, Affirmative said that Mahbuba’s previous experience of working in administration roles meant that her skills have been easily transferable.
Commenting on the strengthening of the team, Chi Ho, head of underwriting at Affirmative, said: “These promotions and appointment demonstrate our desire to continue to grow our team, but also to reward and invest in our people once they are with us.
“I have no doubt that Andy, Farah and Mahbuba will all continue to be great assets to the business.”
