LendInvest bolsters capital markets and treasury team

LendInvest has bolstered its capital markets and treasury team with four new appointments.

In addition, the specialist lender has promoted Jonathan Gomez (pictured above, centre) to the role of treasurer.

Jonathan joined LendInvest as director of capital markets in 2015 and, prior to that, worked for Bank of America in Los Angeles in warehouse lending.

In his new role, he will oversee the funding obligations, liquidity forecasting, and cash and interest rate risk management.

Allister Keller (second left) has been appointed as a member of the treasury team and joins LendInvest from Charter Court Financial Services.

Taher Miah (second right) has joined from Deloitte, where he worked on analytics and the modelling of securitisation transactions.

Prior to that, he was at IHS Markit, where he was responsible for valuations and building out its European ABS pricing service.

Robin Parker (left) has joined from Orbit Housing, where he worked on the largest single tranche bond issue seen in the sector.

In his new role, he will draw on his extensive experience in asset-backed funding and securitisation, gained at companies including Santander and Nationwide.

Victor Pichon (right) has joined from Prodigy Finance, where he helped to raise over $1bn (approximately £785m).

The new hires come as LendInvest looks to build up its in-house capital market capabilities as it looks to open a securitisation programme next year for its BTL product.

“As a fast-growing business, these four new members of our capital markets and treasury team join us at a really exciting time,” said Rod Lockhart, head of capital markets and fund management at LendInvest.

“Their knowledge and experience is going to be invaluable as we move towards the next milestone in LendInvest’s growth.”
